The TMP N2 is a networked player that downloads content from a user-specified website or TiroMedia's CMS The player can also function a standalone device. No monthly subscription is required.

Features of the TMP N2 include:

Ease of Use: The TMP N2 is designed for continuous usage with minimal maintenance (if any). Ccontent updates are done through a web site or the optional CMS. No direct interaction is needed with the actual player. The unit can be programmed to power on and off during pre-set hours.

Auto Power: The player can be setup to automatically power itself on and off during set times.

Reliability: The player has no moving parts (no fans or hard-drive). In addition, it is safe from viruses, worms, etc. In the event of a power failure, the system will safely shut down. The unit will automatically restart when the power is back on.

Low Power Consumption: The TMP N2 uses less than 5 Watts. This greatly reduces the energy cost of using this device versus a PC which often exceeds 100 Watts! The savings in operating costs could be in the thousands when operating a medium or large network.

Small Footprint: At 5.25 x 4 inches, it is one of the smallest digital signage players available on the market. This means it can fit in virtually any space. In addition, because it is super lightweight, it can be easily attached to any surface.

Dynamic Playback: The player supports media playback based on time of day. For example, it is possible to schedule specific content between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Proof of Playback: The player submits a log at the end of each day containing information about the media that was played back. This option is available through the CMS only.

Ticker Support: The player supports both dynamic tickers (RSS) as well as static tickers (user-provided). This unit can handle multiple tickers which are configured through the CMS. The player can also download dynamic ticker text from a user-provided web site.

Storage: The TMP N2 relies on a user-provided CF card to store content (MPEG, JPG, MP3, etc). If more storage is needed a new card can be inserted. The player will then re-download any content from the server. No re-configuration is necessary!
